Join us. Stay engaged. Spread the word.
NCALL invites you to follow along over the next two months as we build momentum for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) (June 15).
Take the pledge to stand for the dignity and safety of older adults! Join the NCALL community committed to supporting older adults and equipping communities to effectively address elder abuse.
Stay connected as we share myths, facts, and critical insights about abuse in later life and elder abuse. We’ll dig into domestic violence, sexual abuse, and stalking in later life, as well as neglect and financial exploitation. We’ll also explore aspects of aging and ageism, and sort through some commonly held misperceptions about capacity and caregiving.
Engage with the content on NCALL’s social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) —reflect, comment, and ask
questions. We want to hear from you!
Help amplify the message by sharing this email with your friends, family, and professional networks, and by spreading the word about this campaign on your social media. Repost our content or tag NCALL in your WEAAD posts!
Thank you for your continued dedication to older survivors of abuse. Together, we can raise awareness, challenge misperceptions, and strengthen responses to elder abuse. Change grows when more people are informed—and involved.
