We’re Here to Help!

In anticipation of the FY 2024 solicitation release for the OVW Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program (herein OVW Abuse in Later Life), NCALL would like to share some resources to assist those interested in applying for this funding.

Screenshot of webinarWebinar recording: In June 2023, NCALL, along with Janice Green of the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), offered a webinar for multidisciplinary professionals interested in learning more about abuse in later life and the OVW Abuse in Later Life Program. This webinar, Funding a Collaborative Approach for the Support of Older Survivors also featured two former project coordinators of the OVW Abuse in Later Life Program. It offers insight into the potential value and benefits of applying for an OVW Abuse in Later Life Program grant, describes the various components of this grant program, and shares first-hand accounts of how OVW Abuse in Later Life Program grantees implemented the program and the impact it had in their community.

  • Resource sheet and map: These materials provide an overview of the grant program and show which communities have received funding over the years.
  • Information on the Grant Program: We invite you to reach out to our team if you have any questions about the OVW Abuse in Later Life Program or the components of the grant. NCALL has provided technical assistance and training to OVW Abuse in Later Life grantees since 2002 and we would be more than happy to answer questions about what the grant program is. Reach out to us at ncall@ncall.us.

This project was supported by Grant 15JOVW-21-GK-02196-MUMU awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice.
