Funding Opportunity to Establish or Enhance Statewide, U.S. Territory, or Tribal Elder Justice Coalitions

NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

The National Center for State and Tribal Elder Justice Coalitions (the Center) at Lifespan of Greater Rochester, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals for funding to establish new statewide or tribal elder justice coalitions or to enhance the operation of existing coalitions.

The goal of the grants to be awarded through this solicitation is to further the mission of strengthening the capacity and build a community of practice of victim service providers and allied professionals to better support older victims of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation and to further advance the field of elder justice nationally.

A total of $2,624,000 will be available through this solicitation. The Center will award eight grants of up to $328,000 each covering a 24-month period. In conjunction with a consortium of partners in the field of elder justice, along with federal stakeholders, the Center will offer ongoing support by providing national-scope technical assistance, training, and other resources.
