NCALL is thrilled to share that two new staff members joined our team in January.

 

Headshot of a woman wearing a gray blazer, smilingVictoria Ferguson-Young joined NCALL as the Victim Services Coordinator. Victoria is a former OVW Abuse in Later Life (ALL) Project Coordinator in DeKalb County, Georgia. She has extensive experience in domestic violence advocacy, prevention, community outreach, and training and education. Victoria was also trained as a national trainer on NCALL’s Abuse in Later Life and Faith training.

In her role as the Victim Services Coordinator, Victoria will be responsible for supporting OVW ALL grantees in effectively serving older victims of abuse, lead the Victim Services trainings, and develop and deliver trainings for grantees and other professionals in the abuse in later life field. Headshot of woman with shoulder length hair, smilingMartie Washington has been hired as the NCALL Abuse in Later Life Program Coordinator. Martie was an NCALL consultant, training on New Grantee Orientation and CCR training. She is also a past OVW Abuse in Later Life (ALL) Project Coordinator in Nevada’s statewide project. In addition, Martie brings experience in direct social work practice with older adults and federal grant management.

In her role as Abuse in Later Life Program Coordinator, Martie will be the point of contact for OVW ALL grantees, lead monthly grantee calls, organize New Grantee Orientation, and develop and deliver training for grantees and other professionals in the abuse in later life field. In addition, we are happy to announce that Sara Mayer has been promoted to NCALL Assistant Director. In this role, Sara will manage communications for NCALL, oversee operations processes, including event logistics, and manage NCALL’s grants administration and compliance processes.
