March is Social Work Month and the 2021 theme is Social Workers are Essential. Social workers often are unsung heroes, yet they play an essential role in helping people across the lifespan, from all walks of life and backgrounds, to live their lives with dignity and agency.
Social workers are essential to preventing and responding to elder abuse and we’re grateful for their compassion and dedication to older adults and older survivors of abuse.
