National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) (April)

Since 1981, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) has challenged the nation to extend its vision of crime victims’ rights and services to reach every victim of crime. Each year, communities across the country celebrate decades of hard-earned progress in securing the rights, resources and protections that crime victims need to rebuild their lives.

The National Center for Victims of Crime partnered with the Office for Victims of Crime, U.S. Department of Justice to produce the NCVRW Resource Guide, a wide array of user-friendly tools, information, and concrete, practical ideas on how to involve communities in extending the vision of crime victims’ rights and services to reach every victim.

To learn more, visit: The National Center for Victims of Crime.

The theme for 2017— Strength. Resilience. Justice. — reflects a vision of the future. One in which all victims are strengthened by the response they receive, organizations are resilient in response to challenges, and communities are able to seek collective justice and healing.

Update or add your information to the NCVRW Mailing List by October 21, 2016 to receive:

  • 2017 NCVRW Theme Poster digital download and printed copy;
