Help, Inc. Center Against Violence is a non-profit organization committed to assisting victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, across the life-span. Help provides a Domestic Elder Abuse Program which includes advocacy, support groups, therapy, shelter, monthly multidisciplinary case review meetings, home visits, and individualized case coordination for elderly and disabled victims. Special training programs are available for professionals who work specifically with older victims and persons with disabilities. An innovative in-service training is offered to long-term care facilities, collaboratively with Piedmont Triad Council on Governments, Region G, Area Agency on Aging.

Human Options, a multi service domestic violence program, operates Safe Options for Seniors providing specialized services to women and men over 50 years old who are family violence victims.
