Enhancing Judicial Skills in Elder Abuse Cases Workshop

Dates: August 23-26, 2015

The National Judicial Institute on Domestic Violence (NJIDV), a partnership of Futures Without Violence, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, is offering a workshop that addresses elder abuse topics using hypothetical case problems, role-plays, small-group workshops, and faculty demonstrations. The highly interactive format enables judges and judicial officers from different jurisdictions and levels of experience to learn from one another as well as from faculty experts.

There is no charge for the workshop. Participants are responsible for their own lodging, travel arrangements, and costs. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have been confirmed by the registrar.
